Handpicked productions gives the family SumArt To Do in the school holidays!
These relaxed creative workshops are designed for all ages and are guided by our

SumArt To Do - Junk Modelling
Wednesday 27 May | 1–3pm - Rosehill Theatre
Thursday 28 May | 1–3pm - Cleator Moor
Join us for a relaxed, hands-on creative session where we turn everyday throwaway materials into something amazing. Using card, packaging, string, paper straws, recycled bits and pieces and more, you’ll build, shape and construct your own creations.
Design a towering cityscape, invent curious buildings, or make whatever your imagination leads you to - there’s no right or wrong way to create. This session is all about playful making, experimenting and repurposing materials together.
Come along and see what you can build.
£4 per person (adults and children alike)
Update on SumArt To Do
Since 2023, our SumArt To Do family workshops have been free to book. We’ve loved welcoming so many families into creative spaces during school holidays, and it’s been wonderful to see the energy and imagination everyone brings.
From our next block of workshops, we’ll be introducing a small charge of £4 per participant (adults and children alike), replacing the suggested donation system we’ve used in the past. This change will help us build stronger audiences, reduce no-shows, and ensure we can continue reaching as many families as possible.
Tea, coffee and snacks will still be included.
We truly value the families who take part in SumArt To Do and believe this change will help us keep delivering high-quality, inclusive creative opportunities for the community.
Thank you for your ongoing support - we can’t wait to keep making art with you.
