These relaxed creative workshops are designed for all ages and are guided by our
professional artist and director Janice Murray.
SumArt To Do - Summer Bunting Workshop
Wednesday 22 July | 1–3pm - Rosehill Theatre
Thursday 23 July | 1–3pm - Cleator Moor
School’s out for summer, so why not get creative and make your very own bunting to brighten up your home, garden, bedroom, or favourite space?
Design it your way - bold and colourful, bright and funky, or inspired by colours that suit your room. Using a range of materials, you can cut, stick, colour and decorate to create something completely unique to you and your family.
A fun, relaxed workshop for families to enjoy together, with plenty of opportunities to get creative and make something special to take home and display all summer long.
£4 per person (adults and children alike)
Update on SumArt To Do
Since 2023, our SumArt To Do family workshops have been free to book. We’ve loved welcoming so many families into creative spaces during school holidays, and it’s been wonderful to see the energy and imagination everyone brings.
From our next block of workshops, we’ll be introducing a small charge of £4 per participant (adults and children alike), replacing the suggested donation system we’ve used in the past. This change will help us build stronger audiences, reduce no-shows, and ensure we can continue reaching as many families as possible.
Tea, coffee and snacks will still be included.
We truly value the families who take part in SumArt To Do and believe this change will help us keep delivering high-quality, inclusive creative opportunities for the community.
