Handpicked Productions Brings Couture Christmas Crafting to The Rum Story

Join Handpicked Productions for Couture Christmas Crafting on Saturday 15 and 22 November at The Rum Story, Whitehaven.

Following the success of their Sekers Objects exhibition earlier this year - which attracted more than 3,000 visitors to the area - Artistic Director Janice Murray has curated two workshops inspired by the finest couture houses of Paris that once used Sekers Fabric, each with a festive twist.

​

Both workshops will take place in the impressive vaults of The Rum Story, where guests will be welcomed with a prosecco reception and nibbles before taking part in a hands-on creative experience. Participants can attend either a bespoke Grown-Up Fashion Fuzzy Felts masterclass or a couture gown Christmas ornament workshop - or are more than welcome to attend both to make the most of the festive fun.

Couture Christmas Ornaments -  Saturday 22 November, 2pm–4pm

Tickets cost £60 per person, including a welcome drink and light refreshments. The Rum Story bar will also be open throughout the events.
